Victor safety bicycle

This is really a strange story. This totally original Victor 1894 has been hanging from a tree for some time in Illinois! But soon enough the local government ordered to get this ugly rusty bike down, calling it an eyesore. It spoilt the local scenery. Niels Wolter was the lucky man who bought it and added it to his collection.

Look at all the beautiful details on this rusty gem, like the tires from 1895 on wooden rims!
The down tube has the name W.F. Tritle on it. Niels thinks it was the first owner and found some information on this man, who was the local postmaster. Serial number of the bike is 10666.

A very similar bicycle was sold at the shop of Robert Sterba, look here.
